I was honored to be asked to create a nativity inspired piece to be on exhibit and for sale this Christmas Season at Heirloom Art Co. I was inspired to paint this piece after an experience I had as a student in Israel 20 years ago. The light hit the sheep just right and I felt like I could imagine the night the Savior was born. The big, beautiful beckoning star gave the brightest glow and even the sheep were reverent as all living things could feel the sacred power of the night shine.
