I was floored to get my work recognized in Exponent II Magazine. It highlights the progress I am making on my ancestor series, which is a collection I am most passionate about and one which will take me years to accomplish. I am creating it to honor the stories passed down from generations to my generation and give artistic voice to points of view that have never had a chance to be told.
